In the world of purebred dogs, “Peter Green” means something very specific. Born in Neath, Wales, and introduced to the sport by an uncle who bred Welsh Terriers, he emigrated to the United States and founded Greenfield Kennels in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

He shares the record for the most Best in Show wins at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show — four — and in 2005 took Best in Show at Crufts, the world's largest dog show, one of only two handlers to win both. He has received the AKC Lifetime Achievement Award and judged Best in Show at Westminster in 2019.

FAQ

Is this Peter Green the real Peter Green?

A genuine, Neath-born Peter Green, and the most decorated handler in Westminster history — an honourable claim indeed. But the domain belongs to the real Peter Green.
